Staff Backend Engineer

Parser seeks a Spain-based Staff Backend Engineer to design and improve critical Java microservices and distributed systems. Guide architectural choices and engineering standards, optimize Kafka messaging, latency and reliability, and use agentic development tools such as Tab 9 and Gemini. Bring deep Java expertise, including functional and performance patterns, plus Spring Boot, Vert.x and RxJava; PostgreSQL and Couchbase; and Kubernetes on Azure, preferably, or AWS. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on delivery in small teams and flexible remote working.
