Build GitLab.com's application rate-limit framework in Tenant Controls, unifying definition, counting, configuration and observation while migrating existing implementations safely. Bring strong backend architecture, APIs, data systems and performance tuning, modern-language and systems-programming proficiency, and modular boundaries/bounded-context/migration design. Required experience includes production agentic AI with loops, tool use and reliable error handling. Lead through technical judgment and clear async writing, connecting product needs with independent execution. High-throughput concurrency/profiling, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL/ClickHouse, schema evolution, modular monoliths/events and open-source/developer-SaaS work are advantages.
